  1. I am planning to fly to Honolulu from Chicago Jan 16 or 17 of 2015 and return around the 25th. We would consider stopping in LA or San Fran. When should we book and how much should I expect to pay?

  2. Hi,

I’m planning a trip to Hawaii on September 17-23. The best price right now from SMF to OGG is $518. Would you recommend me to wait or book now?

  3. What is a good fare out of Atlanta the second week of Nov to Honolulu? And is there a better east coast city to fly from. Hawaiian airlines lists Charlotte but then has no flights available.

  4. Firm travel dates of October 11 through 18/19. Currently $660 round trip from Oakland. Do you think they’ll go down any? Feel like I’m getting short on time
    Thanks!

  5. Hi, is there a better time of the year to fly from Philadelphia area (including Harrisburg, Baltimore, etc.) to Molokai?
    Thanks in advance.

  6. Hi! My husband and I and two of our closest friends are planning an anniversary trip to Kona from NY in May 2015. The cheapest flights I’ve seen for travel during this time is $840/person round-trip. Should we buy our tickets now or should we wait for a better deal? Last Fall (late Oct-mid Nov 2013) our flights to Kona were $643/person round-trip. Do you think the fares will drop this low again?

  7. Is $75 each way for Honolulu to Maui on Hawaiian a good deal for weekday travel the last week in October or will fare sales typically pop up soon?

    1. We are spending two weeks visiting our son on Oahu at Christmas 2014. We livr in New Jersey. Any suggestions other than move out of Jersey. Mahalo

  8. We are in Northern California and will be travelling to Kona 6/15/15-06/25/15. Can you suggest when we should book, what airport is best to fly our, and how much we can expect to pay? Thanks =)

  9. We used to go every year to the islands around late Oct to early Nov for the last 7 years except for this past year. Even with the great tips of when to fly, it seems that prices from the east coast refuse to go down. The West coast has way many more options. We probably should just move to California and be at the half way point for air travel. (But then again, we will probably complain it will now be too far to go to Europe). lol
    Btw, great site.

  10. My family (5) total are planning on attending a wedding in Maui May 19th to May 26th , 2015. Currently Hawaiian Airlines has a total price of $484 per person including tax and fees..should we jump on that or Wait for lower prices? Thanks!
