  1. So the cvs pharmacy will start doing covid19 test for people with no symptoms by August 1 or September 1
    Keep me updated.
    Thank
    You

      1. Please if I may ask a question. Hawaii is now requesting a NAAT type test. Will CVS be providing this type of test?

        Thank you..

  2. How about if I want to travel outside of Hawaii, will the option allow me to say go Utah and then test prior to returning to Hawaii? Or is this for only visitors?

  3. I am concerned that cvs pharmacy does have c0vid19 test for people with no symptoms and that September 29 is two months away. I hope that changes by September 1 so that people can get tested at cvs pharmacy for people with no symptoms
    Thank
    You

  4. Could you please update on what’s up with southwest in Hawaii after the quarantine is lift on August first and what the airline options will be

  5. so I have some concerns. I live in Los Angeles. I have a trip booked to Maui August 7th. Currently there are no places around me that will test with out symptoms. I do not expect that to change anytime soon. In addition the test takes longer than 72 hours to get the results. How will this work? On Hawaii.gov it does not state a time frame when you need to get tested prior to arrival. Where did this information come from? Also, I have 3 children traveling with me. 5,7, and 12. Do they need to be tested? I don’t think any test sites are testing children especially with out symptoms. Is this just another way to keep travelers out? I’m not sure if I should consider cancelling my trip.

  6. I am concerned that If i do the covid19 test September 26 that i wont get the results by September 28 for September 29
    Thank you

    1. Hi Greg.

Definitely understand this and related concerns. Since your travel is still 90 days away, we expect these issues to look a lot different, and hopefully be resolved. We’ll be updating this continuously of course.

      Thanks for all your comments.

      Aloha.

  7. It is very hard to find a way to get results within 72 hours of travel. Just to be sure — this requirement means that 3 days before I travel I have to have the test and the results of that test when I land in Hawaii. What if I have a lay over or travel delay? This is very complicated

  8. Just wondering, If you ( we ) are all flying to Hawaii with our Covid test documents, which should all be a negative test result, will the Airline allow us to fly with out a mask ? Just thinking out loud.

    Thanks
    Brad

    1. Hi Brad.

As far as we understand, the airlines are not involved in any way. They will not be checking tests. This will be done by the State of Hawaii on arrival. That is, unless something changes in the next month.

      Aloha.
