$98 Hawaiian Airlines Deals This Summer And Fall Include Weekends

April 27, 2022 by Beat of Hawaii 311 Comments

Hawaiian Airlines Deals | $99 Now and 54% Off This Summer

If you are thinking of a Hawaii vacation this summer or fall,  you’ll like what you’re about to read and this short-term promotional offer. This is an absolutely fantastic time to visit Hawaii. And pent-up demand for Hawaii travel has never been greater.

Airlines are still taking somewhat of a beating, and now it is from high fuel prices that are leading to significant increases in airfares both to Hawaii and elsewhere. So with that in mind, these $99 airfares come as a great surprise.

Not all routes are included in this sale,. so if you don’t see your route, it isn’t currently part of the offer. These Cheap Flights to Hawaii can end at any time, so make your time of reservation soon.

When to travel for the best prices.

Available for travel from August through Occtober, these fares are quite exceptional.

For the moment, these Hawaii airfares from west coast gateways are running at about half of the normal face amount for this sale period. Below you’ll find low, low fares from the airline from six departure cities on twenty-four routes. Remember to contrast that pricing with airfares at other times this year, for example, when airlines expect higher prices to return. You’ll see those dates are pegged as high as $700 or more RT from the west coast! We’re still waiting to see if the airlines can get those prices to stick, given all of the competition.

All islands are included in this sale. There’s no doubt about it; late summer and fall are both fabulous times to be in Hawaii. Lock in airfares with these offers today, as you won’t see these fares return again. Act now as availability and pricing change frequently and seats at these prices, especially the higher value ones, are extremely limited for future travel.

The $98 Hawaiian Airlines deals are back!

Travel now from just $98 each way including all taxes and fees.

The prices listed below for purchase of any available Hawaiian Airlines tickets are the lowest we’ve found today for the time periods listed. Other days are somewhat higher to substantially higher priced. Availability is limited and varies by route. Some of the per-passenger, one-way, non-refundable fares are for basic economy service, while others are for regular economy. No Hawaiian Airlines promo codes are needed to get a great web fare today. Mostly mid-week travel, Monday through Thursday. Some weekend dates are included. Search for a future flight using the monthly availability calendar on the airline’s website and read all regulations of Hawaiian Airlines.

You’ll get to bring a full-size carry-on and enjoy complimentary meals with wine on board. Plus wide-body comfort on some routes. Always remember to check-in early for the best seating and upgrade options.

Notes on availability:

▶ We always find cheaper fares than advertised by airlines, but with less availability. Keep that in mind when searching.
▶ Can’t find what you’re looking for? See “Need Help” below.
▶ Airfares change up to five times each weekday, and availability decreases as seats are booked.
▶ To take advantage of these limited Hawaiian Airlines deals, you should find and book them now.
▶ The fares shown are a combination of Main Cabin Basic and full-fare economy, depending on the route.
▶ Start traveling either on the US Mainland or in Hawaii.
▶ Prices listed are each way, per paying adult transaction including all taxes and fees. The checked baggage fee is extra in accordance with the airline’s rules, applicable tariffs, and Hawaiian Airlines contract of carriage.
▶ Most flights are nonstop, although sometimes the number of flight segments is more. These are not code share flights.
▶ See note below on connecting flights.

How to book:

Book online only – these fares are not available by phone. Use the links below to go directly to the Hawaiian Airlines website and then search for your city pairs and dates. Try using the monthly fare calendar for more options and to locate the cheapest fares.

Consider connecting flights for cheaper summer airfares:

Regular Maleko commented “HA and AK are terribly overpriced for Portland/Seattle. For a good fare I have to fly down to SFO on UA!” Our reply was “We are total fans of get there the fastest possible. So we didn’t create connections via other airlines. You’re right though, getting down to LA or SD would in many instances be hundreds of dollars less next summer. For a larger group, that makes a difference.”

    Hi BOH,

I just clicked on your link below to find those fares from Oakland, CA. to Maui for end of April and no where on their calendar does it show a $99.00 fare anywhere. Such a joke. What am I doing wrong? I tried mid week flights and found nothing at that price nor have I ever when you say the airlines are offering low fares. Again, what did I just miss?

Mike, we’re sitting on 2 Tix from Phoenix Non-Stop from February 2020, $567 No Refunds, but Hawaiian is a great Carrier and their Non-Stop @ 1100 Hours, is basically twice what ours is, but to connect on the West Coast home, is generally Red-eyes that have one arriving in LAX or SFO, before continuing. If you have Jet Blue Miles, think about that, get a Hawaiiam CC and you can cut the partner ticket by half, and probably have enough to Upgrade to 1st One Way, Comfort Coach on the other.

We typically go to Maui end of Aug/Sept but thus year planning to go end of July. Since I’ve not had to look in July, is RT from LAX for $350 a good deal? I’m a no-frills flyer so basic economy is what I book. Thanks!

      Hi Oscar.

We omitted Sacramento because it didn’t have the deals that the listed cities did. The post says it is limited and that’s what we meant. In any event, on looking again this afternoon we found one reasonable fare to Maui and updated the post with that.

      Aloha.

It’s a good question Marcy, one that I’ve often wondered about as well. We’ve been going to Maui for 10+ years and the airfare hasn’t been that bad the past 5 years or so (r/t non stop for about $400) but nothing like the ridiculously low prices quoted on here. My guess is that most people can’t get these prices because it’s a nice trick the airlines play. I’ve never read one person saying they got a $99 or $150 ticket to Hawaii, but yeah it would be nice one of these days to find/use one.

What good is a $55 airfare when hotel room prices are through the roof? A $400 room is now $900 per night. No thanks.

Stay in a vrbo or condo etc. There are tons of sites of people renting out there condos etc, plus it saves you all that $$$ eating out almost every meal as you have your own kitchen/bar etc. We go to Maui 2-3 times a year, always stay in a condo and depending how much room you need your looking at anywhere from $225-$600 night, except over Thanksgiving/Christmas etc.

These sales sound great! Fill the airline seats! But how will people get around? We are coming to Kona in February and I am literally scared to death the car rental company will not honor the incredible rate I have because I “stealth booked” before they jacked up the rates! I have 8+ hours of flying and will probably be a nervous wreck till I have car keys in my hand.

What a way to do a vacation! I hope my self-inflicted stress well be for nothing!

THOMA … I just completed a trip to O’ahu and used AutoSlash.com for my car rental reservations. First quote in August was for $800+ for my Dec. 9-16, 2021, week. I had AutoSlash.com monitor my reservations and in September it was down to $502, then $394 by October 7, then ended up at the lowest quote of $321 on October 25. It took some work on my part – I had to accept and cancel more than 11 reservations on my computer – but I saved over $470. I encourage you to try it!

      Hi,
Do you belong to Costco? I looked at a car pickup/return $465 Mazda SUV for one week. Nice thing about Costco is all Costco members can be additional drivers for free.
So if you have several potential additional drivers, it’s a big savings,
      Have a great vacation!

Thanks. How’s it going now that guys are back from vacation? There have been deals from Phoenix, as well as from the Pacific Northwest. They aren’t as plentiful due to a different and less active competitive environment.

Thank you for this timely information. We head to Kauai & Kona the end of January. We like the extra comfort seats & prefer to fly out of Sacramento rather than the Bay Area so we know we will pay more. It took some effort, time & patience. We had to book each leg separately & repeat the process when our reservation got stuck somewhere & wouldn’t go thru. But success!

You can actually blame southwest. Locals wanted lower airfares, but you’re also going to get the lower class people from the mainland. Can’t have it both ways. If it weren’t for southwest, airfares wouldn’t be as low.

Well you are correct about SWA being to blame for much of the overcrowding but I think it’s more because they have added so many flights from different destinations being fed by their extensive mainland route structure. The fares would have likely been in the same ball park as they are with HA having competition from Alaska, Delta UAL and AA.
Hawaiian has always had a better ratio of value and quality above everyone else.
Interesting to note that when the Mayor of Maui asked for the airlines to slow down the expansion of flights to Hawaii HA was willing to help but “other airlines” (read SWA) said no way, we are in the midst of trying to get market share….that was in the Star Advertiser recently.
So no HA is serving Hawaii while everyone else is finding use for idle airplanes flying to one of the few vacation spots open to Americans.
