  1. This fare sale appears to be a turf war between American and Delta. So, make sure to check both airlines before booking.

  2. Any word on rapid covid tests by lax? Seems like sfo, oak & sea are doing them but I couldn’t find any info for lax to Hawaii.

  3. I look forward to your daily emails and thank you for the information your share. We travel on Delta Airlines from the East Coast connecting usually in Los Angeles. We are not seeing any discounted flights on Delta Airlines in your posts. Are you overlooking that airlines or are they just not discounting their flights.

    1. Hi Ben.

Thanks. We do cover all the airlines, whenever we see anything noteworthy to publish. And we have published many Delta deals.

      Aloha.

  5. I am curious if anyone has researched the partnership of JetBlue with Hawaiian Airlines. If you live on the East coast and want to fly out of Central Ny area, there are no compatible flights—JetBlue lands at JFK after Hawaiian takes off. So why are they still partners if JetBlue is making every connection be an overnight layover? All the Airports that Hawaiian flies from have no connecting flight for a 1 stop/LEAST HOUR FLIGHTS LANDING AT HNL at an hour that you can pick up rental car—and get to your destination. I find landing at 9:30 or later at night does not work for folks who have to check into their accommodations before 5 or have to wait until next day to make all arrangements. Love flying Hawaiian but find the schedules from our area very inconvenient either due to flights or the need to fly airlines that cannot link luggage which means you retrieve luggage and trek to another terminal and go their security again. Just seems all airlines would work to solve these difficult flight arrangements. Mahalo for letting me ask about this .

  6. Whether I receive a response or not, I think others like me would be interested in an identifying caption beneath each of your photos manifesting the beauty of Hawai’i, captions which describe where they were taken. They contribute to the dream of visiting Hawai’i and finding a personal spot to enjoy the beauty of its creation.

    1. Hi Nick.

That was taken from the Kona Tiki Resort on the Big Island. We indicated Big Island at bottom of post. We’ll try to keep that up.

      Aloha.

  7. Going to Honolulu in June from Tampa. $900 rt with taxes and fees. Should I wait for lower prices? Been watching for months this is the lowest I’ve seen.

  8. Going home to Oahu January 11th for a family reunion. I’ve been patiently waiting for sales from Sacramento, especially with SWA jumping in the mix. I thought we would start seeing some pretty good deals for that time frame, but not yet. When would you expect some deals to drop for that route? And, how long would you wait for them? Mahalo for everything yo do!!

    1. Hi BMac.

Sacramento has had good deals (and probably will continue to), albeit on United Airlines with stops. Nothing much otherwise. Yes there should be better nonstop deals ahead for Sacramento. Hard to say exactly when. SWA says Sacramento will be at the beginning of their Hawaii service, so you may be in luck. No one really knows any more at this point.

      Aloha.
